In June 2025, Danny passed away after a long battle with Parkinson’s. His daughter shared: “Butterfly Kisses was always out song-it’s what we danced to at my wedding, just as I’d always dreamed. Two days after he passed, my 5-year old daughter drew a picture for Pops-a beautiful butterfly. She never knew the song, yet that moment felt like his way of telling me he’ll always be with us, watching over my kids and giving them butterfly kisses from above.”
