My mom gave up a career in speech therapy to teach and be a present mom for her kids. She never expected but she blossomed as a teacher, but at nearly 30 years, it’s not not what makes her heart sing. I had the privilege of the time and availability to fail and figure out what I wanted and who I wanted to be in life. As an empty nester, my mom is now taking this time to discover what really drivers her. She’s stumbling like I did but she’s learning so much about herself...Gerrie is tough name, a unique name and a name that for me, let’s me know it’s ok to be tough and not have it all figured out."

    Our journey began while I studied Apparel Design at Louisiana State University. However, it was always the accessories that captivated me. The ability to transform an outfit with jewelry was powerful; its ability to transform not only your appearance but also your confidence. 

    Following my college years, I had a career in product development, focusing on clothing and accessories, which led me overseas to have a hands on experience in the production process. It was an immersive experience that fueled my passion for the art of accessory design...
