Amber

Some colors don't ask for your attention. They just have it. Amber is the pile of pumpkins at the edge of a farmers market, heavy and golden. It is Paris in October, when the leaves along the Seine turn the whole city into a painting. It is the inside of an antique shop on a quiet street, a grandfather clock ticking in the corner.
